Crystal Display Systems Ltd (CDS), a provider of industrial LCD TFT and touchscreen solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with Beijing DWIN Technology Co, Ltd, a provider of human-machine interface (HMI) products and solutions. This collaboration will enable CDS to support DWIN’s range of smart UART TFTs (COB & COF) and their embedded Android and Linux display systems across Europe.
Through this partnership, CDS will offer support for DWIN’s products, including:
Smart UART Displays – This range includes UART displays from 1.3” to 21.5”, including bar, stretch, circular, and square types. The displays feature DWIN’s dual-core processor based on the Intel 8051 architecture and their DGUS UI development tool. The displays offer device-to-device communication via integrated UART ports (RS232, TTL, RS485, or CAN-Bus interfaces), and have memory for project storage and touch functionality through 4W resistive or Projected Capacitive technology.
Embedded Android / Linux Touch Displays – These are high-resolution open-frame tablet-style displays from 5” to 15.6” with capacitive touch. The displays integrate Rockchip or Allwinner ARM Cortex Quadcore processors and come with either an Android or Linux operating system. The displays feature 8GB FLASH memory and connections including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, headphone, external speaker, camera, microphone ports, and communication interfaces (USB, RS232, RS485, and TTL).
TFT Displays with Capacitive and Resistive Touch – DWIN has partnerships with major TFT display manufacturers and produces its own range of TFT LCDs and touch overlays. This includes TFT LCD sizes from 1.3” to 10.4”, capacitive touch from 2” to 15.6” with custom cover lens service, and resistive overlays from 4.3” to 10.4”.
