Diebold Nixdorf showcases portfolio at RBTE 2017

LONDON — Advanced retail IT solutions designed to drive connected commerce in support of the four key drivers in the retail industry— digitalization, individualization, automation and miniaturization– all powered by Diebold Nixdorf (NYSE: DBD) await visitors to this year’s Retail Business Technology Expo (RBTE) in Olympia, London.

From May 8-9 in booth #940, retailers have the opportunity to learn more about the company’s systems to automate checkout- and cash handling processes, software platform for omni-channel retailing and services to manage stores throughout their lifecycle.

At RBTE 2017, booth visitors will discover the future of consumer transactions through advanced solutions, such as:

  • Seamless Self-Checkout Technology — The Red Dot design award-winning EASY eXpress self-checkout solution and EASY Smart Pay solutions meet the industry’s demand for a miniaturized footprint and cashless payments via card or smartphone.
  • Kiosk Solutions — The new K-One Kiosk is designed to digitalize the in-store consumer experience by quickly and seamlessly assisting consumers throughout their visit. Particularly in the hospitality and quick service restaurant environment, the versatile system paired with segment-specific software allows consumers to select from a range of customizable menus, add extra ingredients and pay via their account. Once the order is confirmed, consumers can monitor the status of their order and collect it without waiting.
  • Mobile Checkout — The moPOS solution offers an easy way to integrate tablet technology into the retail environment. Offering an easy transition, the solution allows a tablet connected to a mobile hub to interact with a stationary point-of-sale (POS) device, such as a printer or scanner.
  • Industry-Defining Concepts — The new miniaturized Extreme Self-Checkout Concept is slightly under 25 centimeters or just one and a half times the width of a pound note. Its miniaturized footprint fits perfectly in any environment while providing the individualized experiences that today’s consumers expect. The new concept, together with Diebold Nixdorf’s mobile application software solutions, enables retailers to connect consumers’ entire shopping experience.

“Our comprehensive portfolio of hardware and software solutions and services enable retailers to streamline store operations and enhance efficiencies while also offering consumers a fast, convenient and personalized shopping experience,” said Thomas Fell, Diebold Nixdorf senior vice president, retail.

Booth visitors will also experience Diebold Nixdorf’s TP Application Suite, a comprehensive suite of software solutions designed to provide high-quality, seamless experiences for consumers and enable advanced functionalities in the retail environment. The platform links all consumer touchpoints and store applications, from loyalty programs and mobile devices to digital signage and back-end systems.

Hardware-agnostic, it also delivers real-time data analytics to drive efficiencies. At RBTE, Diebold Nixdorf will preview a new graphical user interface for its array of software solutions.

To ensure smooth deployment, maintenance and operations of all systems and software solutions, Diebold Nixdorf offers retailers a comprehensive services portfolio. At RBTE, the company will demonstrate how retailers can achieve operational excellence through a virtual reality retail experience.

Additionally, Diebold Nixdorf will be showcasing secure, cashless payment solutions together with a global marketplace for high-quality, value-added apps and services for merchant banks and acquirers from AEVI, a Diebold Nixdorf subsidiary.
