Innovative Technology (ITL), has reported a successful event at the Singapore International Transport Congress and Exhibition (SITCE) which took place in the capital at the beginning of the month. The leading public transport event in the Asia Pacific region is a testing ground for some of the world’s innovative and transformative urban mobility services.
Yap F Lim, ITL Business Development Manager for Southeast Asia commented, “This was the first time we have exhibited at SITCE, and we were impressed with the number and quality of visitors attending. Our NV4000 Spectral mixed bill recycler made its debut for the region with many visitors interested in installing this high volume recycler which is designed to help move customers seamlessly through transportation payment terminals quickly. Due to its large recycling capacity, it means fewer refills, improved machine uptime and a reduction in service calls.”
Continuing, Yap said, “Our Smart Coin System (SCS) also proved popular for customers needing a bulk coin validator, mixed coin hopper and recycler in one. The unit validates, discriminates and stores mixed coins, eliminating coin starvation and the need for multiple hoppers to significantly reduce operator collection costs.”
Yap concluded, “Overall, SITCE was a positive event for us and we look forward to following up with key contacts we made at the show to help them improve productivity and generate efficiencies. The public transport sector is an innovative, evolving sector and we are excited about working with operators to expand our presence in this important segment.”
